Kakapilo bat haiz, kabroi!
Santutxo still uses an answering machine. He enjoys listening to his messages, which he occasionally posts on his YouTube page (see below). In case you don’t speak Basque, they’re on the order of: “Hey dumb ass - you better watch your back. We know where you live!” and “You’re a pile of shit, asshole!”

Arrano Beltza by Negu Gorriak
I've become slightly obsessed with Basque punk rock.
Negu Gorriak recorded this song in 1993 - which of course preceded Santutxo's total excommunication from the ETA. You know, his nom de guerre was Arrano Beltza - the black eagle, symbol of the Basque struggle. Now they more typically call him Txotxolo - the dumb ass. This is actually the name he prefers.
